Marketing strategy, branding and website
Having been awarded a prestigious NHMRC grant to establish the Centre for Research Excellence in Falls Injury Prevention, the team at Sydney University’s Institute for Musculoskeletal Health needed a unique brand and stand-alone website.
Falls are the leading cause of injury-related hospitalisation and death in older Australians, with over 133,000 admissions and 6,000 deaths annually. On average 365 older Australians are admitted to hospital each day, due to a fall-related injury. Beyond the devastating personal cost of a fall, the annual cost to our country’s economy is estimated to be $5Bn.
An important role of the CRE has been to bring together research and initiatives that will reduce the risk of a fall for older Australians.
New brand look for a new health entity
Our brief included designing a new brand look for this new health entity. We needed to design a professional, practical and positive brand look, that would complement other associated brand entities, such as the Institute of Musculoskeletal Health itself.
Professional website to build professional research profile
We then designed and built a new website using the brand look and feel. The website needed capabilities including easy access to the latest research, hosting information and links for upcoming professional events, showcasing the team of globally-respected research leaders, and attracting and informing future potential research partners.
We are proud to have partnered with the CRE in Falls Injury Prevention, and to have supported their important work in raising the profile and awareness of actions that can reduce the risk of older people having a fall- related injury.
