Developing a comprehensive communication and engagement strategy to strengthen outreach and digital presence.

NSW Food Authority

Background

The NSW Food Authority (NSWFA) required a comprehensive communication and engagement strategy to support its functions under the Food Act 2003 (NSW). Juntos Marketing was engaged to develop a strategic plan, including a content strategy, SEO and UX recommendations for the website, and social media improvements.

Approach

Juntos collaborated closely with NSWFA to design and facilitate a key stakeholder workshop, conducting thorough preparation by reviewing existing resources, background reports, and performing desk research to address identified gaps. Given the complexity of NSWFA’s stakeholder landscape, the workshop was essential in consolidating prior insights, gaining expertise, and ensuring long-term stakeholder buy-in.

We developed a detailed communication and engagement strategy that outlined NSWFA’s organisational objectives, value propositions, and target audience profiles. This included key messages, personas, and recommended engagement approaches. Juntos also crafted a 12-month implementation plan and content strategy, conducted a UX and website analytics review, and provided actionable recommendations for website and social media improvements.

Outcome

Juntos successfully delivered a professional communication and engagement strategy, a content strategy, and an implementation plan, along with detailed recommendations for website and social media enhancements. The project was completed on time, meeting all NSWFA’s objectives. Following this success, NSWFA further engaged Juntos to design and develop additional digital assets, including fact sheets, website page designs, and video production, to support their ongoing initiatives.
