The marketing and branding behind new Australian Health Alliance
Over 30 organisations have joined together to form the new The Falls Prevention Alliance.
Officially launched in 2025, The Alliance includes world-leading falls prevention researchers, community groups such as Rotary and the Older Womens Network, not-for-profits such as The Heart Foundation, health promotion experts and concerned citizens.
Falls Prevention Alliance: focus on reducing falls in older people
Our health researchers lead the world in many fields, including in evidence-based ways to reduce the risk of having a fall. Despite this strong research and the significant personal and financial costs of falls in Australia, falls prevention receives relatively little attention.
Whilst falls are a leading cause of injury and death for Australians aged over 65 years, falls prevention is not included in the Australian Preventative Health Strategy, not do falls prevention initiatives receive consistent, adequate government support in any of Australia’s jurisdictions.
Since launching, the Falls Prevention Alliance has garnered support from current and past parliamentarians, as well as leading community figures.
A cohesive brand and strategy for prevention alliance.
Supporting the establishment of a new health alliance
As a foundational member of the Falls Prevention Alliance, Juntos Marketing has been involved in the strategic plan for the alliance, the development of the Alliance framework, as well as the design and development of a strong brand look and feel.
We have very strong evidence to support effective ways to reduce the risk of having a fall. We look forward to seeing much more focus and systematic approaches that significantly reduce falls in our community.
